Frequently asked questions
What working with Dahna involves, from pricing to the first 90 days.
Dahna is a Korean-English digital marketing agency for US brand growth. Founded in January 2026 by Ana Yon and Jae Lee, Dahna connects creators, content, paid ads and search in one marketing plan. The team works in English and Korean to help brands reach US audiences. Email and SMS automation is paused.
Meet the foundersDahna plans and runs the marketing that helps your brand grow in the US. We coordinate creator marketing, content, paid ads, search and conversion in one plan, and measure what each channel returns. The work can support US market entry, a product or channel launch, or growth for products already selling. We work in Korean and English across Korea and the US.
Dahna was co-founded by Ana Yon and Jae Lee. Ana Yon (Co-founder · Marketing) is a marketer with professional experience since 2019 across beauty, fashion, entertainment and technology, and built US-market strategies in prior roles. Jae Lee (Co-founder · Data & AI) is an engineer with nine years across AI, adtech and other fields who built Dahna's measurement, from data collection to campaign reporting and process improvement. Both work in Korean and English. Together they pair market judgment with measurement, so brands can make better growth decisions.
Read Our StoryDahna works with Korean and international brands entering the US and with American brands growing at home. We cover beauty, skincare, haircare, food and beverage, fashion, and entertainment. The work depends on your stage: assessing whether an established brand fits a new market, building demand for a launch, or improving an existing US business. American brands can start at launch or with products already selling. We work alongside your team and partners, in Korean and English where needed.
Start with the US market entry guideNot always. You can work through the entry decisions without an engagement, starting from a customer, a product and a viable route to market; our Enter the US guide walks through them. If your constraint is product approval or fulfillment, resolve that first with the right specialist. Dahna is the right fit when your product is ready for US customers, you want one team to run creators, content, paid ads and search together, and you want to know what each channel returns.
Our view is that commercial priorities and approvals stay in-house. Compare staffing options with the work you need every month. We favor one agency coordinating creators, content, paid ads and search because it gives the work a shared message, measurement plan and person responsible. Dahna can help when you need US-market experience and Korean-English coordination across several channels without hiring every capability separately. We work with your team, agree on who makes each decision and report in both languages.
Yes. AI can help organize research, adapt approved messages into content, group creative assets, check terminology and record approved decisions. People remain responsible for strategy, cultural judgment, creative direction, product claims and final approval. This site's articles also use AI for research, drafts and source checks. The AI-assisted library does not claim independent human or specialist review; its production notes and editorial policy explain the review limits.
Where AI is used, and where it is notAn engagement can include US positioning and localization, creator and influencer campaigns, TikTok and social commerce, paid ads, conversion improvements, search and AI visibility, and measurement. We choose the services around the problem your brand needs to solve and price them in a custom proposal. Your brand's stage helps determine the scope. Email and SMS implementation is currently paused.
See how an engagement runsDahna prices each engagement as a custom proposal built around the services you need and your brand's stage. The price reflects the work involved, whether that is market research, content, influencer campaigns, paid ads or full go-to-market execution. Tell us your story and we'll propose a scope with deliverables and pricing for each stage.
How to plan for agency costsNo. Your brand pays creator fees and media spend directly; they are never billed through Dahna. Plan them as their own lines next to the agency fee, so the fee is never mistaken for the full investment.
Plan the complete launch budgetNot a fixed one. The term follows the services in scope. The first conversation and the proposal come with no obligations, so you decide once you have seen the scope, deliverables and pricing.
We reply within 24 hours with next steps, including when you write in Korean. Then we discuss your brand and the services you need, and you receive a proposal outlining scope, deliverables and pricing, with no obligations and no pressure.
The first 90 days span four phases, each closing with a decision record. Discover, in week one, reviews your product evidence, positioning, customers, and channels to agree on priority and scope. Plan, in weeks two to four, aligns the message, channels, and owners and is approved before execution. Activate, in weeks five to eight, launches or improves your priority channel and confirms it can be measured. Learn and refine, from week nine, uses the evidence to decide what to improve, stop, or expand. These are planning windows, not guarantees.
Read the full 90-day processDahna plans to review the first campaign results in weeks five to eight, when we launch or improve your priority channel and check its tracking. Product readiness, claim approvals, inventory, account access, creative, budget and channel choice can change that timing. After discovery, we set milestones for preparation, launch and review. There is no guaranteed date for growth.
No. Dahna commits to the agreed work, its quality and clear reporting. We do not guarantee a sales figure. The first review records your starting performance and identifies what is holding growth back, so later results can be compared with that baseline.
Not always. The right setup depends on the sales channel, seller eligibility, importer responsibilities, returns, inventory, tax advice, and fulfillment model. Dahna helps you map those requirements and coordinate with the appropriate legal, regulatory, tax, marketplace, and logistics specialists.
We keep your brand's origin, formulation, design and product philosophy in the brief. Localization changes how you explain them for the customer's needs and the channel they use. We adapt the message and product education while keeping claims within what your evidence supports.
Yes. Dahna can integrate with in-house marketing teams, product development teams, and existing agencies based in Korea. Our team works in Korean and English, and briefs, approvals and reports run in both languages where your team needs them, so your teams in Korea and the US decide from the same document. We can work within your existing workflows and tools.
Dahna is not a substitute for legal, tax, regulatory, or customs advice.
